Rock the Rock!

Rock the Rock, the biggest showcase of alternative and rock music in Barbados came off last Saturday at Bath, St. John. I wasn’t there for the entire thing but I got to see all the performers that I was hoping to see, and more. My friend, Kam, got to dance on stage with Cover Drive and I got to meet Nick Ward from Threads of Scarlet. I also heard Kite, Nexcyx and Kin Sound System. I don’t think I ever heard Kin Sound System before, but I really dig their style. Nexcyx as usual put on a totally fun performance and they even brought Soca Queen, Allison Hinds, on stage for a few minutes.

I had an excellent time. Big thanks to Troy and Linda for the tickets! You guys are the best!!!
