Sometime late last year I was the wedding photographer for Tony and Lekeisha. They were great, Lekeisha was fun always cracking jokes and Tony’s a pretty cool , laid-back kinda guy.
We started off at Foul Bay beach in St. Philip. Lekeisha was late as brides tend to be, but once she arrived things flowed really nicely. I loved the decorations, they were simple, natural, using mainly palm leaves and sea shells and very nice. We were in the shade of a huge tree, looking out to the sea with the sun setting to the side. It was a beautiful setting.
The reception was held at a guest house also in St. Philip. The newlyweds did a choreographed first dance and the cake cutting ceremony involved sparklers. It was fun. It was also hard work but I’m used to that. I hardly got time to rest and I took quite a few photos. Those people really know how to party!
At every wedding that I take photos at, there is a moment, usually sometime during the reception, where you can just feel the love in the air. That’s my favourite part of the wedding. This may be really, really late, but here’s to wishing Tony and Lekeisha Oliver the best in their marriage!
